Compression
molding
The art of thermosetting polyester,
silicone & rubber manufacturing
Setvis has specialized in direct compression molding since 1950. From phenolic and melamine resins, to polyester, silicone and rubber, we have everything covered.
We supply molded products made in different colors, which are fire-resistant, food and medical safe certified. Glass, carbon and natural or mineral fibers are the materials we use for fiber-reinforced composites manufacturing. Our specialities include carbon-fiber reinforced items with high-resistance properties.

What are the advantages of compression molding?
When it comes to making products that have irregular thickness, excellent dimensional stability and heat-resistance properties, direct compression molding process for thermosets is an ideal solution.
This transformation technology is extremely helpful if you need to start manufacturing:
- large size superthick items
- low-volume production runs
- products with high-temperature resistance and dimensional stability properties

How we can help
For direct compression and tranfer molding projects, we use 3 vertical compression molding machines whose clamping force range up to 500 ton. We produce silicone resins in multiple colors across the entire hardness range of A35-A90 Shore, manufacturing parts up to 500×500 mm size. Significant applications we provide involve electrical insulators, mechanical parts, mechanical-textile items, watch-cases, knife and pot handles, control unit carters, lab equipment./p>
